Nkunku has registered only 17 goals for Chelsea through 56 appearances in all competitions, with six of those efforts coming in top-flight competition. He did, however, hit 58 goals for Leipzig across the two campaigns immediately prior to his big-money move.
Arsenal, who are in the hunt for more firepower, believe that the Frenchman could be a useful addition at Emirates Stadium. According to , Mikel Arteta feels that Nkunku would fit nicely into his tactical system if a switch from west to north London were to be completed.
It is claimed that Barcelona and a number of teams in the Bundesliga are also monitoring Nkunku’s situation. That is because he could be available for as little as £40m ($54m), which is considered to be a bargain for a player already proven at the highest level.
